Chilli Chicken

Ingredients :


Boneless chicken-1 kg
Cornflour-150 gm
Flour-5 tab
Eggs-3
A pinch of ajinomoto
A pinch of Red color
Salt and pepper
Oil for deep frying


For the sauce:


Chilli sauce-450 ml
Ginger garlic paste-4 tsp
Soya sauce-4 tsp
White vinegar-4 tsp
Red chillies-8
Sprigs-8
Curry leaves
A pinch of ajinomoto
Red color
oil-4 tspn

Method :


1. Cut the chicken in small pieces and mix together the cornflour and salt and pepper and ajinomoto and beat the eggs and add to the flour mixture.
2. Mix well to a smooth paste and add the red color and put the chicken pieces and marinate for 15 mins and deep fry in hot oil and lower the heat and fry till done and remove the pieces and keep aside.


For the sauce:


3. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce except for the curry leaves and oil.
4. Heat four tab oil in the pan and season with the curry leaves and add the sauce mixture and cook for a min before adding the chicken pieces and cook on a low heat till almost dry and the chicken pieces are well coated with the sauce
5. Serve hot.
